this used to be . . . the place to express the things I don't say with my mouth

Day at the park

Here are some pictures that were taken when we went to go see the Twins and the Mariners play in Seattle. The final score? 6 - 1 Twins.

Empty seating as we arrived as the gates opened (actually before hand)

Friends and families - The guys on the left are the family I rode up with, the family on the right are the family that encouraged us to come see their friend Mike Redmond play (and get an autograph) Both families go to our church (except grandpa!)

Here is probably the best baseball beer ever - Blue Moon Honey Moon Summer Ale. Majorly refreshing!

Mike Redmond came out to sign some objects (ball, jersey, cards, etc.). From the little time I saw him, he seemed pretty genuine and nice. He even homered in a game recently. He plays the catcher position.

Over all a great time, we decided to "wing it" on finding a hotel, but for some reason, the hotels were booked ... on a Tuesday night! Can you believe it? We ended up sleeping at an unfriendly hotel in SeaTac, after navigating through the airport "destruction zone". The game was great! The friendship was fine. The food was plenty. The drive back was tiring after a quick turnaround. But all worth it!
